Can anyone clear up for me what a Pre Mattel Felicity is supposed to have as far as tags on body, tags on clothes, and signature marks?

I have seen listings on ebay for supposed pre mattel Lissie's with no body tag, one with a Made in China dress tag, and made in West Germany body tag, seen them with different signature marks and someone even has a supposed pre Mattel Samantha with parchment paper colored cloth body under her dress.

What am I looking for? What is the difference between the pre Mattel made in China and made in Germany dolls?

The only thing I know is that the face shape is different and that the eyelashes are supposed to be thinner, nicer, more like the color of her hair.
